Where can I find my old address book files after upgrading Dymo Label Software?

When you install Dymo Label Software version 8, it doesn’t delete the pre-existing files. You can easily find the old address book files and saved label templates in the DYMO Label folder by default. Here are the steps to find your existing address book in the new version of Dymo Label Software:

  • Launch the DLS new version.
  • Click on the Address Book menu.
  • Select Open.
  • The dialog box will be displayed with a list of address book files you have saved previously.
  • Select the Address book file you want.
  • Click Open.
  • If you don’t see previously created label templates automatically in the Saved Labels section of DLS, click on the File menu option on top and select Open.
  • Find the template you want.
  • Open the template and save it.

This template should populate the Saved Labels section. And you can follow the same process for other saved address templates.

We hope this guide on Dymo address labels has helped you in creating new address labels or editing them.
